Smoked Sea Salt

If you've been anywhere near this salt, you may have had to do a double take to make sure you are, in fact, standing where you thought you were, and not magically transported to a campsite after a long day of hiking in the woods with a roaring campfire. It may sound extreme, but this salt is THAT powerful. It's smoky, earthy, raw, and nostalgic.

So, to make it simple, remember those woods you just imagined? If it's something you would eat out there, it will probably taste awesome with this salt.

To make it more complicated, here's a breakdown of some suggested items to pair it with:

Hamburgers, Steak, Chicken, Pork (especially of the bbq pulled variety), Lamb, Venison, Salmon, Shrimp, Tilapia, Cod, Bacon, Pasta Carbonara, Roasted Veggies

Essentially, anything that you want to taste smoky without having to go through the hassle of actually putting it in the smoker.

Good for both a rub and as a finishing salt.

Roasted Garlic Flake Salt

Key word here is "Roasted." This salt does not even fall in the same hemisphere as the garlic salt you see at your local grocery store. It has a strong, but not overwhelming, oak and smoky garlic flavor. Think more soft and sweet roasted garlic clove appetizer at a fancy restaurant vs. freezer version Texas toast. Now, I'm certainly not knockin' Texas toast, but it has it's own time and place, which is usually next to your generic jar of pasta sauce and noodles when you have 10 minutes to whip up a meal and haven't been to the store in over a week.

That being said, don't be scared off thinking that even a dash of this is going to create such an overwhelming flavor that you can't stand near anyone for the next 2 days. That's the beauty of this sea salt! It's the perfect balance of saltiness and roasted-ness and garlic-ness, so YOU decide how strong the flavor is, you are in control! In our experience, this is one salt that it's actually hard to over-do it with.

What can you pair it with? If you love garlic, LITERALLY ANYTHING. The options are endless. I mean, to be fair, roasted garlic ice cream cake might not be so good... but to each their own.

If you're a little more hesitant to take this one and run with it, here are some suggestions:

Pasta, Bread, Chicken, Potatoes, Steak, any kind of veggies, as a rub, finishing, OR cooking salt.  Mixed with butter or cream cheese and used as a spread over crackers. The list goes on...

Lemon Flake Salt

We know you've heard of salty and sweet combos before, so this should be a pretty straightforward one. While understated on it's own, throw some of this lemon salt onto watermelon, strawberries (our personal favorite), asparagus, or fish, and you'll get the slam dunk of summertime treats!

With this variety, you'll find the lemon flavor comes bursting out once added to any food you please. It's light, slightly sour, and a great go-to if it's your first time using a finishing salt and you're a little apprehensive.

We recommend using our Lemon Twist Sea Salt on anything ranging from margaritas and mixed drinks to salad, veggies and fruit to shrimp on the barbie.

Rosemary Flake Salt

Open up a jar of one of these babies and you'll think you just stepped into an herb garden. Strong, but not overpowering, our Rosemary Sea Salt will make your mouth water and mind go crazy with cooking ideas.

Any dish you would typically use rosemary in you can substitute this into, AND nix that table salt all at the same time. Sea Salt being as porous as it is, absorbs the Rosemary infusion like a second skin. So flavorful, you will have a hard time deciphering where the rosemary ends and the salt begins.

Think chicken, turkey, pork, potatoes, pretty much anything roasted, or even mixed into an Aperol Spritz cocktail. Guaranteed to get compliments.
